Professional Pest Controller (PPC) is a quarterly magazine I produce for the British Pest Control Association (BPCA). It’s aimed at BPCA members and has to appeal to a broad range of people – from managers to fieldworkers. PPC has had many incarnations but I’d venture that this is the most commercially-aware version so far. Typically, my liaison at BPCA issues me with a rough page plan complete with copy, and I take it from there – only surfacing for air a few days later with a completed proof. Amendments to get to a final proof rarely take more than an hour, underlining how I tend to get things done right first time (ahem).
