DocDelete?
DocDelete administers at this clinic when the bile rises. His online persona stems from a nicknamed coined while he worked in a computer graphic bureau in the early 90s. Back then storage space was at a premium and, although a typical Dicomed 35mm slide file only consumed 24Kb, he was limited to using floppy discs for archives, and had a hard drive with a massive 40mb of available space. Strategic working file deletion was necessary on a daily basis; however the good Doc was wont to overstep the mark in his search for a clean, defragged drive – and often ditched files that were current, and needed! Putting these oversights down to the pressure of an 80-hour week was all well and good, but the amount of rework required – with one or two notable midnight-oil events – just added to the confusion and high blood pressure.
