Goodbye Oliver

If I consider for a moment that a fair proportion of my childhood was gainfully employed watching quality television, then I must owe a debt of thanks to Oliver Postgate. Put simply, the man was the creative powerhouse behind 90% of the programmes that left a lasting impression – Noggin the Nog, Bagpuss, The Clangers, the list goes on.
Once again, Steve Holland of Bear Alley, does all the hard work. Oliver’s own website is here. And, of course, much info is here.
